Evening Nervous/Novice & Stressless Show Jumping

Wednesday 23rd August – 3pm – 7pm

‘Stressless Show jumping’ is a relaxed and informal environment for both horse and rider where competition dress is not required but can be worn if the rider chooses to. It is ideal for novice or young horses and riders or simply a social event. Warm-up in the indoor arena and compete outdoor in our 61m x 21m arena.

Clear rounds awarded with rosettes in the Nervous/Novice classes 1 - 4.

Rosettes awarded up to 6th place in the Stressless classes 5 – 9 (for both Pony and Horse sections).

Clear round class £10, all other classes £12. Pre-online bookings only as times will be given prior to the competition.

Current standard and correctly fitting hats, gloves & footwear for riders is compulsory. First Aider(s) on site all day.

Horses/Ponies can only compete in a maximum of 3 classes.

Nervous/Novice Classes 1 – 4 (NO DOUBLES, NO FILLERS, NO OXERS, NO PLANKS) Horses and Ponies compete together, Lead rein welcome!

Class 1 – Cross poles (1 round no clock)

Class 2 - 35cm (1 round no clock)

Class 3 – 45cm (1 round no clock)

Class 4 – 55cm (1 round no clock)

Stressless Classes 5 – 9 (Full course inc. fillers etc.) Horses and Ponies in separate sections.

Class 5 – 65cm (1 round second half timed)

Class 6 – 75cm (1 round second half timed)

Class 7 – 85cm (1 round second half timed)

Class 8 – 95cm (1 round second half timed)

Class 9 – 1m (1 round second half timed)

Timed fences to be confirmed on the day!

FAULTS: –

• Refusal = 4 faults.

• 3 Refusals/Knocking timer over/Fall of horse or rider/Wrong course/Going before bell = Elimination

We know the COVID restrictions have been relaxed but we would like to implement the following rules/guidelines to keep everyone safe: -

• No horses left tied to outside of vehicle

• Toilets will be open with hand washing facilities       

• Hand sanitiser available in appropriate positions.

• NO DOGS

• NO SMOKING

Proper coffee available all day (Cash preferred)

REFUND POLICY: Withdrawals will be accepted up to close of entries, whereby a refund will be given minus a £2.00 admin charge per test. Late withdrawals and ‘no shows’ after close of entries will not be refunded under any circumstances unless the event is cancelled.
