Michaela
Michaela opened Riverside Equestrian Centre in 2001, from where she built up a very successful riding school. In 2025, she made the decision to close the riding school and concentrate on coaching individuals on their own horses and to make the most of the amazing facilities that she has created over the years.
Her Story
Michaela Preston BHSAI INT SM is a BHS accredited coach providing flatwork, pole work and jumping lessons to all ages and abilities as well as BHS training. Michaela is also a Level 3 Work Based Diploma (NVQ) assessor and is an End Point Assessor for 1st4Sport. She has been awarded a Level 5 Certificate in Equine Biomechanics by The Open College of Equine Studies.
Michaela is fully trained in First Aid, safeguarding children, DBS checked and fully insured.
Based near Doncaster, South Yorkshire, Michaela is on the borders of Lincs, Notts and Bassetlaw so can cover a large area for individual lessons and clinics.
Has over 25 years teaching experience and is currently competing at British Dressage to PSG level, has also previoulsly competed successfully in show jumping and eventing.

Her recent riding acheivements include being selected for the British Dressage Senior Inter Regionals and the British Dressage Home Nations, and being placed 1st in the Forces Equine Dressage League in the Elementary section on her talented horse, Faside Supernatural (AKA Mickey).
